The city council’s Exploratory Committee to Study the Feasibility of Forming a Pothole Remediation Committee concluded its fourth meeting Tuesday without a vote, after forty minutes were spent determining whether “study the feasibility of forming” was itself within the exploratory committee’s charter, or a matter for a separate feasibility subcommittee.

The pothole, unattended since the committee’s formation, has reportedly grown to a size the parks department now classifies internally as “a geographic feature.” A motion to acknowledge this classification was tabled pending review of the minutes from the meeting in which the motion was first raised.
